| Wow, it has been such a long time. I have been so busy since school started. Classes are killer this semester. One word of advice...if you can avoid it, NEVER take physics. But anyway, other than classes, everything has been going really well. This past weekend was great. Saturday, I cooked for all the people at Chris' house for the UGA game. Sunday, Chris and I went and saw my grandparents in Cochran. Papa was preaching a revival out there. Then on Monday, we traveled to Tallahassee to see FSU vs Miami. It was a lot of fun.
I'm headed home tomorrow, and then to Athens on Saturday to the UGA vs South Carolina game. I can't wait!
Something that I was thinking about today...it's so basic but so true. John 11:28-29. Jesus calls Mary and she gets up and runs quickly to Him. So many times in my life, Jesus will call me to something and I take my time to go to Him. He calls me to who I am supposed to be or to where I am supposed to be going and I sit around and continue doing what I was doing before; putting off going to Him. I just pray that when Jesus calls me to something, I drop what I am doing and run to Him
| It is so great to be back at school. I have really realized this summer that Vidalia/Mt. Vernon has become my home. I love Hiram and being with my parents, but there's just something about this place. Getting to know the families at FBC Vidalia has made this place even better.
It's been great hanging out with Chris, Stacey, Curt, Jesslyn, and Scott and Mindy since being back. They're such a fun group of people. The band has had a couple of gigs the past week, and I was recruited as the video girl. It was a lot of fun, but I truly believe they brought me along so that I could carry stuff.
Anway, I start RD training on Monday and with RA and O-Team training, I will be training nonstop until school starts. What fun.
I'm gonna head on, but I can't wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks! Later guys
| Well, I have a week under my belt at Hibbett Sports. It's such a good job. My coworkers are so great, and I'm treated so well. Because of some outside factors, I was able to get on the sales floor a lot sooner than expected. It's pretty cool. I haven't had any rude customers yet. Tomorrow will probably be pretty rough, though. It's cleaning day.
Chris comes tomorrow. I haven't seen him in 2 1/2 weeks, so I'm pretty excited. I think we're gonna spend a day at Stone Mountain and we're going to the Braves game with my family on Friday.
I hope everyone's having a great 4th and a great summer.

| Just another quick update. I went to the doctor yesterday about my knees. I have patellafemoral syndrome (runner's knee). There's really nothing that they can do about it. He suggested exercising in the water and doing eliptical machines instead of running. He also suggested taking yoga to increase my flexibility, because that could decrease the pain. So, at least I know what is wrong with me, but it's a little frustrating because I will pretty much always have this pain. He said he could inject my knee with pain killers and make my knee go numb, and I will still feel the pain.
I spent last week in Vidalia house-sitting and helping out with VBS. I was the helper in one of the 1st grade classes. They were such an awesome group of kids.
I will finally be able to start work at Hibbett sports next Monday. At least I will be starting training that day.
I have to go back to school a lot earlier than expected. Instead of having to be back Aug 14, I have to be back Aug 4. That cuts out a good bit of work.
Anyway...Hope ya'll are having a wonderful summer!
